NBC’s new competition “World of Dance” showcases the talents from dancers all around the world, but the judges have some serious talent, too.
In a behind-the-scenes moment, Jennifer Lopez shared a video of an impromptu performance with Derek Hough, NE-YO and Jenna Dewan-Tatum backstage — just to remind us how awesome they are.
In the clip, Lopez is center stage with NE-YO and Hough as her background dancers, showing off some fierce moves and tricks as a trio. NE-YO also has his moment to shine with expert popping and locking followed by Hough, who busts out his quick feet for a ballroom solo. Dewan-Tatum also gets into the mix, joining J.Lo for partner combinations with the boys.
This treat, however, may be the only performance we see from the judges. During a press panel in New York City, Dewan-Tatum and NE-YO revealed that the judges and hosts will not be dancing on the show, instead opting to keep the focus on the competitors.
“It’s about them,” Dewan-Tatum said. “It’s about who we’re finding. It’s about the dancers on the show.”
