Despite its name, this tool is not used to make feet longer or bigger. (Who would want stretched out feet, anyway?!) Foot stretchers are used to develop and perfect the foot's arch. Elastic or velcro holds the foot down while the heel sits in the curve of the base. Some versions are longer to stretch the legs, too.
