She may not be the youngest performer on the sidewalks of Las Vegas, but she may be the most inspirational.
Tonya Johnson, 62, has been busy drawing crowds on The Strip and becoming internet famous for her moves. The groovin' grandma is good at popping, locking, the Robot and other throwback breakdancing moves.
And she does it to celebrate beating cancer, according to local news station Fox 5 Vegas.
Johnson was diagnosed with cancer in 1999, while living in Michigan. She was told she had six months left to live. So she packed her bags and moved to Las Vegas to undergo treatment.
Now, 19 years later, she is cancer-free and dancing to make others —and herself — happy.
"Every day, I get up with a positive attitude and a smile," she said.
