Cop Called For Noise Complaint Ends Up Showing How Salsa Is Done

They serve. They protect. And they salsa.

A police officer in San Antonio, Tex., responding to a noise complaint walked into a dance party, but rather than shut it down, he joined in.

Leslie Sapp, who posted a video of the dancing cop on Facebook, was hosting a party for her child’s dance club, Next Generation (NXG) Dance Crew.

She told her local news channel that someone complained about the noise, prompting police to check it out. But when the officer showed up, he got down on the dance floor with the kids.

“Instead of shutting it down or even interrupting, the officer asked to play a song and then his song came on, and well, the video speaks for itself,” she said.

He also showed the youngsters a thing or two about salsa dancing.

After he did some very impressive footwork during his solo, he started dancing with one of the girls named Jaelie. He broke down the footwork so she could follow along and then even demonstrated how to do a turn with a partner.
