Dancer Turns Into Human Jump Rope In Mind-Blowing Acro Performance
We’ve seen some pretty incredible acrobatic and cheerleading stunts, but nothing quite like this.
Dance group Zucaroh is known for their incredible acro stunts fused with dance. The group seems to completely defy gravity in the way they hurl around their dancers, as seen in this video of an incredible performance at the 2015 World Gymnaestrada in Helsinki.
But just when we thought the group was peak mesmerizing, we discovered an even more incredible routine — with one stunt in particular which is absolutely fascinating.
Wearing multicolored unitards, face paint and blue mohawk wigs, the group performed a routine in South African contest that had even more lifts and tosses.
At one point in their performance, two dancers grabbed another dancer by her wrists and ankles, swinging her around like a rope. Then a fourth dancer joined in the stunt and jumped over her, pretty much making the woman a human jump rope. We also need to point out how flexible the woman’s back is to be able to bend that way.
While the rest of the troupe broke out ribbons to do rhythmic gymnastics, a small group created a windmill with two of the dancers.
We seriously have no clue how they do this.
